How does electrolysis work?

A probe is inserted into a hair follicle and a mild current is delivered.  The current damages the cells in the hair follicle and releases the hair.  The hair is taken out of the follicle with a forcep/tweezer.  Permanent hair removal is achieved after multiple sessions when all of the cells in the follicle are destroyed, no longer allowing hair to grow.  Appointments are usually scheduled based on time increments of 15min. 

The difference between laser and electrolysis is that electrolysis destroys the cells of the hair follicle independent of the hair color itself, therefore, electrolysis works on All hair types and colors. The other difference being that electrolysis targets one hair at a time vs laser which targets multiple hairs in a given area on each pulse.
